Climbing the Duomo wasn’t as simple as 463 steps; climbing the Duomo was 5 years of dreaming, one long year of planning, and many sacrifices made. But let me tell you…standing on top of the world, knowing that you have accomplished that which you set out to do – that which others said was crazy – is a feeling not everyone gets to experience.

It is a feeling I am grateful to know intimately.
